I’m curious. We’re talking about the scraped data to bring here. Where is it?

Mucho appreciation and good karma to you! And the tech description of your process was quite fascinating and set a great context for me as a non-tech person to appreciate your efforts all the more. If MojaveGeek vouches for you then I'm all in as well.

Oh and thanks to our moderators as well, what a team of troopers you all are!

I'm thrilled to see that you've signed up here.  Your contributions on the old forum were fantastic, and it would be a huge loss if you didn't join us here.

+1  I'll be looking forward to keeping up with your further adventures in DV, Dazed!

Thanks netllama and Candace66 for the compliment as I feel the same towards the both of you.

I'm hoping to be in DEVA the first part of October for more adventures.

DeathValleyDazed - I'm glad that you found your way here. It wouldn't be the same without you.

I think netllama was asked by admin from the old DV.net to not post the data from the old forum here, so it was deleted from the original post. Hopefully we will hear from the old DV.net admin if/when they're ready to release the old data.

This is all thanks to you netllama for sharing your technical expertise. I hope to post more here after my next trip to DEVA sometime this Fall. I'll be curious to see how the two floods have changed the landscape I'm familiar with.

There is a $39 app called WEB2DISK. It will produce an exact copy of a website on your hard drive. Links to pictures work and it looks identical. Sadly, I didn't know it existed until after death-valley.net was gone. Using this app obviously violates the site owner's copyright.

That's unnecessary. There's free software available that does the same job (and is what I used to scrape the site ~2 years ago).
