Billy Holcomb - Death Valley - DeathValleyDazed - 2022-01-25

Any forum members with past or current dealings with Billy Holcomb that relate to Death Valley? I just stumbled upon these organizations this week while researching topic about DEVA. They appear to have heap of fun while performing some worthwhile conservation and educational activities. A side note: As a kid (1960's) we had a few Holcomb families in our Southern California small town who were probably related to the mayor of San Bernardino - Holcomb clan.

E_Clampus_Vitus over view and talks about chapter surrounding the Death Valley area:
There are currently 46 ECV chapters in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona/New Mexico, Montana and Colorado, as well as an offshore chapter (the Floating Whang chapter), an online chapter (the Cyber Whang chapter), and two more proposed chapters.

Interesting. I've come across some of their monuments and wondered.

Hey MG, the nearest Billy Holcomb plaque to DEVA is at Shoshone. Next time through I hope to remember to stop and take a look.
