Death Valley Vestiges - Some Unexplained - DeathValleyDazed - 2022-03-31 March 6, 2022 I set out from Stove Pipe Wells on a cool and crisp morning to explore the flats north of the Mesquite Sand Dunes in hope of finding some relics and vestiges of the good ol' days. I did come across fragments of the old telephone line from Rhyolite to SPW and some other oddities I can't explain and maybe you can? I did not notice one oddity until editing this 2:20 video, that being the odd raised motif on the lower left quadrant of the wooden "Stove Pipe Village Welcome" sign. It resembles a pistol like object pointing up but I can't figure out what it is exactly? Help! RE: Death Valley Vestiges - Some Unexplained - Bluegreen kayak - 2022-03-31 Looks a bit like a roadrunner fllying down to the left, but who can tell? RE: Death Valley Vestiges - Some Unexplained - Kauri - 2022-03-31 Yes, it's a roadrunner. I remember visiting SPW when the sign was newer and the roadrunner was more distinct.
