In 1941 you may had to step around horse poop while hiking Golden Canyon, Zabriskie Point Badlands, and Twenty Mule Team Canyon. You can still ride horses and mules from The Furnace Creek Stables out on the flats but not up these canyons. Oh, the good old days.
