1965 16mm Peak Ascents Death Valley
#1
George Anderson packed a 16mm movie camera to document ascents of Corkscrew Peak, Ubehebe Peak, Mesquite Sand Dunes and reflections of snowcapped Telescope Peak in the Badwater Salt Spring. Hang On Sloopy was a hit song in 1965.

Nice timing with the corkscrew footage. Where do you get all these videos from?

Yes, I thought about posting under your cool Corkscrew trip report but chose the photography topic due to its vintage quality. Source for most vintage videos I post come from https://archive.org/details/movies and they only have 9.5 million to choose from. lol
I complete massive edits due to the length and varied quality of the original captures. How cool that someone digitized these gems. The most recent condensed about fifty minutes down to 2.5 minutes.
