Thanks for the awesome trip report of an epic hike. That's really killer, though the way you stashed gear helped a lot to lighten your load. You're saying there was pot growing in Hanaupah? That's a bit brazen since all your vehicle traffic is visible to the whole valley.
You obviously covered an amazing amount of ground. Way out of my pay grade these days! But I'm envious. I don't know how you can hike that far without a real sleep!
You added a bunch of distance with your alternate route down from Wildrose and then back up to Morning Glory, but that ridge does in general stretch things out a bit for what I'm not surprised is an easier descent. Still, that must have been a hard decision to make.
Well you are right on target about the memories. And as you must be aware, your memory does in general erase the bad parts, leaving you primarily the good parts to think about over the years!
