April 22-26: The Roadrunner Route

The Hanaupah Canyon pot "farm" was busted 3 or 4 years ago.  The bags are there as part of the park service cleanup of the crap they had up there.  Yeah, I guess they figure enough other vehicles drive up there that they can periodically go up there. 

On hiking without sleep, this is the third time I've done that and each time was quite difficult.  The other two were part of the Sierra crossing last August.  In those cases, it was because of the heat wave that I hiked at night.

On the hike down the ridge....the alternate route (red on the map) was the one I did 6 years ago.

Here is the best shot I got of the rainbow....I had to turn the contrast way up to get the colors really to show, but I like the way it turned out.
