So, the next day we woke up early and went to the office of Navajo Nation Parks because I wanted some permits but guess I forgot it was the observed christmas day so they were closed. Ugh.
Anyways we drove to meet our guide who would show us some amazing stuff they have in Hopi Land ( and make sure we dont ruin whats left).
The Hopi have become more and more protective about visitors ( after many tourists have disrespected their traditions and rituals, sigh...) and now require you are escorted by a guide to visit their land. But they still havent fully reopened with areas still off limits.
Many of the guides had to take on other jobs since they closed to outsiders and have either stoped guiding or guide only on their days off. So we were really lucky.
This was probably what I was most excited about and yet my brains still were blown. WHAT CRAZY MAGIC PLACE IS THIS. How is it even possible?

Somebody explain this to me, the place is full of these crisscross patterns. Magic surely.
