So how close did you pass to Willow Spring?  I'm thinking about going back to Titanothere Peak, also from Daylight Pass, and the mile leading up to Willow looks like a lot of cross ridge walking.

I got close to willow spring but didn't check it out. It's about 3.5 miles of hiking from the pass to Willow spring.

I recommend sticking to the wash as much as the brush allows.  If you don't, you'll be hiking up and down a multitude of small ridges.  You'll have to do some of that regardless.
