I typically don't see a need for actual trails in the desert. However, I love finding the segments of old foot trails throughout the park and have many more yet to see.
Would folks like to see these historic trails preserved with a trail maintenance crew?

I have observed over the decades that many historic trails are “maintained” by a “crew” of a large variety of four legged wild critters who enjoy an easy path to follow during their daily routines.
