Zero Degrees to Sunny Death Valley
#1
Monday early morning here in Utah it was zero degrees F so I'm heading out to sunny and clear DEVA tomorrow for what looks like a fun filled week of who knows what adventures await. I hope to drop a few news notes from the park if I'm in cell range, but can't guarantee it.

I'm leaving behind some wild friends of mine who frequent our horse ranch mostly in the mornings and evenings. I've collect some images of these crazy creatures over late Summer and this Autumn.

Enjoy the warm weather!  We've only been down into the teens, but I still understand your quest for warmth!

If you find yourself in Saline Valley over Halloween weekend, look us up.  Michelle and I will be camped at the Upper Spring since Palm Spring and Lower Warm Spring are closed to soaking on account of the NPS's Covid-19 restrictions.

We broke a record at 29˚F in Portland. It was 26˚ across the river in Vancouver, and I thought that was cold until I saw a weather report from Montana (town started with a P) that was -29˚F!

Meanwhile, here in Vegas, I still haven't lit the pilot light for the gas heater! But I've yet to see it below 72 degrees inside my place. And I actually ran the AC a little Friday afternoon!
