I came across this image and tag line on Reddit about an army tank sitting abandoned in Death Valley. I actually don't believe it's within park boundaries but wondering if anyone knows more detail about this situation? Here's a screen shot and then the link.

That tank and others are parked behind the General Patton Museum in Chiriaco Summit on Interstate 10 between Indio and Desert Center, California...

One could easily spend a few hours going through the museum and it would take a few days to locate and tour the remaining campsites but it's well worth the time.
