Panamintvalley.com down

Why not make DV Talk the new PV.com? It has history as the ancestor to the current DV forums. And it’s simply languishing with little traffic. I don’t see a culture conflict, as since few post, there is no culture. DV Talk is under your umbrella, isn’t it David?

DV Talk is still a different environment, and radically different software running for it. Merging DV Talk and pv.com would be even more effort.

Yes, I am an admin for DV Talk, yes. But we have a good host there, and I don't want to impact it.

Yeah, I sure remember the days it was the wild, wild west! That, and I remember when it had that horrible, white board flow chart like thread structure ... ugh!

Those two things drove me over to the then new, Death-Valley.us, the forerunner of Dan’s and this site.

Yes, it's back and on a new host which should be stable. Our most recent offsite backup, however, ended being from Nov, 2019, and the old hosting service had no more recent backups.

The forum will stay up at this point; al our testing and updates are complete. No need to re-register; everyone's registration, as long as it was prior to Nov. 2019 remain intact. Just remember what you posted since that data, and re-post :-)

Well, I can't log in. Maybe I changed my password since Nov. 2019?

I used the "I forgot my password" option. But I haven't yet received an email. Sad

Yes, that address is good.  I still haven't received anything, so go ahead and work your magic!
