Rubiblue
#1
I know many here know him, or have seen his posts. He was a fixture on pretty much all the DV forums. Word came to me a couple of days ago of the recent passing of Jim Kenney, aka “rubiblue” on the forums. I’ve had the pleasure to run with him and his blue Wrangler Rubicon a few times. When I find an obit in the Ridgecrest papers, I’ll link it here.

When I shot this photo at Teakettle Junction, he was puzzling about the recent addition of cowboy boots. He dryly quipped, “I wouldn’t want to drink tea brewed in any boot than Tony Llamas.”

Very sorry to hear this. I remember reading many of his posts, especially on the Panamint Valley forums. May he rest in peace.

Oh, this is so sad. He was such a fixture out there and so loved the place.
