planned maintenance Saturday July 31, 2021
#1
This forum will be offline for approximately 60 minutes this Saturday (July 31, 2021) to perform a database backend upgrade.  The upgrade should be transparent to everyone, no special action is expected from anyone.

I will update this thread once the work has been completed.

Thank you for keeping this updated. Two other forums I'm on are getting back level, and we are having a very tough time finding someone to do the update. The web side of things is not my forte.

I could handle a half hour without this fabulous forum but a full hour. C'mon man, that's gonna cause too much pain! Just kidding of course. I stand amazed and in gratitude for your computer technical skills Netllama. You're so smooth on the backside of this forum that it's way too easy to take you for granted.

BTW, following you and your travels around the globe on Instagram is one of the highlight of my day.

Oh wow, I gotta read your travelog on that. How is Covid in Africa? Did it cause you grief?

The trip report is still a work in progress. Depending on whom you ask, COVID either doesn't exist in Africa, or is widespread and under-reported. We saw very few people wearing masks. Considering how less than 2% on the entire continent are vaccinated, I'm more inclined to believe that its spreading like wild fire. We had to get tested 5 times over the course of the trip (at least once per country), but otherwise it wasn't an issue. We've been fully vaccinated for a while.
