Not having been in DEVA for nearly a year I felt confident in creating this image with "artificial intelligence software" to predict within the penny the current gas prices inside the park. Please fact check me here and also note how the crash protectors resemble cigarettes with the filters sticking up making the signage into a huge ashtray.

Pretty realistic.
As per my field notes, the lowest I paid for gas at the Chevron station at Furnace Creek was on December 7, 1997, where I paid $1.77 for regular.
For comparison, on December 29, 1996 I paid $1.44 for gas at Scotty’s Castle. On January 8, 1997, I paid $1.51 for gas at Stovepipe Wells. On September 7, 1996, I paid $1.85 for regular at the Chevron station in Shoshone. And April 10, 1999, I paid $1.56 for regular at the general store in Beatty.
