That is a better article than the one I saw, thanks. It also mentions another person missing from Emigrant Campground. Anyway, it is a shame, the victim could have just walked 190 and gotten help if needed. But maybe other issues if he had been driving around in the current heat while being low on gas.

My first thought was that he died of shock at seeing the gas prices at Furnace Creek …’
Such a shame that he died only a few feet from the highway. As they used to say at the end of roll call on Hill Street Blues, “Hey! Let’s be CAREFUL out there!”
