What was the obsession with quicksand back in the day? Movies and TV made it seem like it was everywhere.
When I was a kid quicksand seemed rather magical, and I was so excited as an adult to head into places in Utah where it was found. But, meh, except for the one time when I got pretty well covered in thick black mud.
