Take a rainy day 360 degree tour of one of Lake Manly's islands just off the northeast shore and west of Natural Bridge entrance. See a crusty old bullet casing located along the way back to the car park.
How was walking out to the island?
Thanks DVD - I chuckled at how you were able to identify Telescope and Wildrose when all I could see were clouds. And you were out there in the rain!
Walking out to the island was fun and left practically no trace. The salt pan under water is surprising sturdy. I used my steel toe rubber muck boots as the water was only 6-8 inches deep at the most. These boots are tough enough to handle those rock hard salt spikes.

My X-Ray Vision super powers often come in handy when out and about in Death Valley. lol
