I predict that when Beardilocks joins Brice in the park, that activity will pick up on this forum

Hoping to return to DV in early 2024 when more roads are open. Crossing my fingers.

I’ll get there eventually. But with North Rd not scheduled to open until AFTER Feb, I’m not sure about when. I just did a winter in DV with North Rd closed! 😂
Definitely going to wait a bit and see how progress goes. Currently enjoying life in Southern UT.

There is a lot of beautiful country in southern UT. Which part are you in? If you are posting about it on your blog, please remind me of the address? Southern Utah... you could search for petros for years and not run out!

Very good, I just missed that, silly.
Last time I was in that part of Utah I wanted to head over to Starlight, or at least climb Molly, but it fell off the schedule. I had a rental sedan and though I would be able to drive to within about 5 miles of Molly. Does that fit with your experience? If you get further west in southern Utah, get in touch, I might have a little known suggestion for a couple of petro / picto sites in the general vicinity of Hurricane. Email better after Thursday as I'll be off on my own trip south of Tucson and often don't have time to check the board in between all day hikes.

Take a look at Ski3pins An Adventure to Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary – September 2023 series of eight parts for some out of the way Utah ancient art sites. I believe the first one or two parts they visit some, especially on the way back to California in parts 5-7. Lots of Monte’s fine photography.
