Pretty image. Until you realize just how much light pollution there is out there. I’m not certain of the direction, but Vegas and SoCal light up the skies at night.

It's 50 miles from the Pinnacles to Barstow. Barstow is the glow on the horizon.
We drove by the Pinnacles about a thousand times, but never stopped to check them out. A great omission.
