Finally, I'm back in the lovely DEVA on December 11, 2021 after more than a year away. Using iPhone for hotspot rather than pay Xanterra for web access. LOL
Detailed video trip reports to follow but for now enjoy these three click baits:
Telescope Peak snow from Artist Palette Road half mile from Artist Palette Parking Lot.

Artist Palette Road from steep approach to Blue Mountain's east face high above the Artist Palette drainage.

Telescope Peak sunset from high above Artist Palette while descending from my fourth summit of Blue Mountain. I discovered a new access via the southwest face of the mountain on a picture perfect December hiking day.

I would say that 4 ascents of Blue Mountain are 3 more than anyone else has.
Congratulations!! Well done!!

Speaking of Blue Mountain, Stav Basis has posted a typically epic report that includes Blue as well as several other peaks in the area:

Stav's report is crazy, crazy good. Thank you Stav for showing us an area that I am not able to explore.

Rain event? Does anyone ever document these things as they are happening? I always wonder what places look like hwne rainfall is significant enough for areas to have water flow. Would love to see some rearranging of gravels or active water falls, things like that.
Would love to be there shortly after, or even during, in a safe location

It's great to see some snow atop Telescope. The peaks were looking very barren when I was there on Dec. 2. I look forward to your trip reports, Dazed.

Have done both. Kinda novel, but you can see it much more safely after the water recedes!
