The sign in the 1970s used to read "Caution, Low Flying Jets"Love Death Valley jet stories. I was scrambling up well past the Darwin Falls trying to make it to the China Garden when some jets buzzed low. I could not see them but that sound bouncing off the canyon walls was an earth shaker. I loved it but wondered how the wild life have adapted to this? I doubt it bothers the burros. LOL
I'll try to remember that old sign "Caution, Low Flying Jets" and snap a photo next time I'm through there. Somewhere online a few months ago I was communicating with someone about DEVA who knew you and mentioned you but now I can't locate or remember the exact context of the point. It was a fun one though. Your reputation has spread around the world.
