Mars and Death valley

DVD linked to a NASA article mentioning confidence hills and pahrump hills.  Got me wondering... turns out there's a bunch of stuff on Mars that has unofficially been named after the DV area.  That's news to me.

Nearly one decade ago I happened to be in DEVA and attended a lecture about possible life on Mars at the second
MarsFest. It was "far out man!"
