Hi MG,

No, I just kinda lost steam.  I may yet.  All my photos are up now, though, in Albums on Flickr.

Overuse, generally, has really taken the wind out of my sail toward trip reporting on any of the "usual" forums.  However, I really have found that Lake Mead, Mojave NP, and wilderness areas of the region simply seem to not attract much attention away from the road systems.  The exception being the increase in long term dispersed camping.  Backcountry travel, however, still seems fairly minimal.  In the case of my recent trip, I do doubt that TRs would add to the "pressure" of use, I just have been lazy about the effort!  After Lincoln County NV I continued in a horseshoe around Vegas, roughly.  I spent a day in Arrow Canyon Wilderness-->several on North Shore Lake Mead NRA-->down to South Shore Lake Mead--> adjacent wilderness/backcountry areas (Union Pass and Dead Mountains)--> Mojave NP (Cinder Cones region +)--> DVNP.
Off of a road or a recognized trail (Lake Mead Railroad Tunnel Trail) I never saw a single soul.

Oops, looking at my albums, I haven't posted Death Valley yet!  Only two hikes: Peak 1676 above Coffin Canyon and Shwaub via Echo Canyon end of road TH.
