Wow, thank you for the impressive trip report, and amazing journey. I've never been in good enough shape to manage that much of an adventure, but appreciate hearing about yours, and in such detail.
I have hiked (and driven) to Panamint City. It's a worthwhile hike, though the buildings up there are slowly being destroyed by the elements and humans. I hope to still go that hike one more time.
