I have hiked (and driven) to Panamint City. It's a worthwhile hike, though the buildings up there are slowly being destroyed by the elements and humans. I hope to still go that hike one more time.

Cool you got to drive there! I was there in 2017 and 2019, and the Hilton deteriorated A LOT in that time, plus there was new graffiti on the wall below the smokestack. I probably will do it one more time also....I want to hike up to the Happy Canyon divide, and maybe down to Happy Canyon. And maybe I will give Panamint Pass to 10460 a shot as a round trip day hike.
