Funny, I was just thinking about you, John. Really! Because I was thinking about some posts about the eastern Sierra (e.g. False White Peak) and how when we lost the old site there was no real way to announce the change and we'd lose people. And at this time of year I start thinking of peaks instead of desert and start reading nwhikers again. Except for last year, did not get out west when the peaks were snow free at all. I'll have to go over there and see what you've been up to.
So I'm working on some Sierra plans, probably based out of June Lake again, this August, and was wondering if I should try again for Conness (which I didn't quite make last time) and /or White itself (I got to the basin at the end of the boot track from the Saddlebag Lake road, and that drive in camp ground in there, and eyeballed the obvious route up, but did not take it, last time, as I was a bit unprepared).
Anyway, welcome back

Thanks MG! I may even have a DEVA TR to post from December that I realize I never posted on any forum.
