Great catch on the comment. I missed it by not reading any of the comments. Here it is for those who have trouble finding it specifically.

"The namesake of that first plant was very specific so I looked it up and yeah, it was named after William Hillman Shockley, a mining engineer in Nevada in the 19th century whose son William Shockley co-invented the transistor in 1947, several hundred million of which enable the operation of the camera used record video of the flower.....full circle none directly involved could've ever predicted."
