I received a copy of Digonnet's Western DV (Panamint, etc.) book for Christmas – and the truck is getting worked on first week of January – so hopeful I'll have a story or two to share next year. Cheers!

I’ll be trickling into DV in a bit for a slightly smaller in scope but hopefully not in adventure kind of a trip.

I'm just home from spending most of December in Tucson and south down toward Mexico. Sometimes my phone would connect to a Mexican cell town and then my Merlin bird song app would tell me it might make mistakes because it was not tuned to that region The Sonoran desert is so different Very green, full of birds, but so many plants with spines and thorns that the brush and just rip your skin to shreds.
