Thread ratings have been disabled

FYI, I disabled the ability to view & set thread ratings earlier today.  There have been a few recent DDOS attacks on the site, and the thread ratings have been the attack vector.  Before I invest a lot more effort into dealing with the DDOS attacks, I felt that it made more sense to disable the functionality

Most people never used thread ratings.  Additionally a future version of the forum software will be removing the thread rating functionality altogether, so this isn't going to exist forever regardless.

Apologies in advance if you loved thread ratings and miss them now.

Thanks for watchdogging the forum with your expertise. Can't imagine who wants to invest any time in Denial of Service attacks to the forum? I never paid attention to thread ratings. Happy New Year 2025 back at you.
