It was a long, unpleasant evening.  I did have a couple off brand pepto tabs in my first aid kit that helped.  Bad night in the back country is far better than any day at work. Smile  Mostly.

It's all good.  I explored some of the Ibex area and I was able to reschedule to a time that my granddaughter can join me.  I also know that the roads are good enough to support arriving in the morning and not camping overnight, which should result in better rest.  And from my campsite I was able to scan the first part of the hike with binoculars so I have a better understanding of what's in store.  Besides not getting any sleep and wondering if I might die in the back of my Jeep, it was a useful trip. Smile
