The trip report is excellent and I enjoyed browsing the photos. It is obvious that you put a ton of planning / prep into these trips, I presume working out most of the logistics in advance. Ah the wonders of the Internet. When I wandered around in Africa, the only real source of info was what you got from fellow travelers coming from the direction you were going. Always a lot of notes exchanged about where to stay, sleep, how to get around.

I have been wondering about the low Covid numbers for Africa, which is why I asked. As you say, likely vastly under reported. Either that, or it's a huge reservoir waiting for the virus to makes its way there, impeded a bit by the slower transportation infrastructure (or lack thereof).
