Thanks for the heads up. I was not aware of the stream bed making a major new loop. This is a huge project. I feel for the Superintendent Mike Reynolds because it seems since he took the reins May 2015 it's been one yearly disaster after another. He seems to do a respectable job as super.

rebuild the Salt Creek boardwalk:

Besides the photos in the NPS pdf I searched online for more Salt Creek August 5, 2022 flood damage photos and videos and came up with this 2.5 minute compilation but I could not obtain any images of the Salt Creek upper channel change and bridge washout. I hope to check out the scene on my next visit to DEVA especially where the channel has changed.
