I actually did order all new cables from Jeep/ToyotaCables and having watched a few videos I'm sure I can get at least some of them installed. I haven't done a deep dive on my primary battery – running a Group 35 battery – and my secondary battery is a Group 31. Numbers, what do they even mean?!
LOL. I think you're joking about the groups, but if not, the group numbers are basically the physical size of the battery. I had to get a group 27 battery several weeks ago for my Outback.

They also denote where the terminals are I believe. Side/top, pos left or right. Etc. Although some are amended with an additional character to specify some of that.

Sorry, sorry .... was a nonsensical reference to ... I don't even want to admit the riff I was trying to make there.

With all the talk about car repair cluttering this thread, I missed to hike report
That looks very cool. I'll have to go there. Doesn't look too hard. I certainly have noticed plenty of human or game trails in the area.
Thanks!

Toyota repair comments are always welcome on my threads. Just ask Kauri. 😁
Living in my rig 10mo out of the year means that repairs & maintenance are such a big part of that. I tend to leave it out of these threads but it’s almost as important as cooking.
And for cooking, I’m a bit of a foodie. I love cooking. And it’s a challenge out here with limited resources but I do pretty good. A small fridge gets you a long ways.
I went through one resupply a month ago with no eggs anywhere. After that it hadn’t been an issue. So there’s eggs in Nevada. 🤣 They ain’t particularly cheap anymore but… remember when we used to throw them at the houses of our enemies they were so cheap?I mean some ppl not me.
Killer hikes coming. And boring ones too. I’ve got shit for everyone. Stay tuned.

Side note here:
I just wanted to thank Kauri for her many years here as a moderator. Godspeed with everything else you have going on. May your Toyota fleet (what? 5 going on 20 of them?) be fully charged and CEL free!
And welcome to the new mods, Geek & Taco! Looking forward to the future sans Voldy distractions etc.
Cool stuff tomorrow! Maybe! I’m dirtbag blown by the wind, who knows.

Agreed, thanks Kauri for so much! Andy our continued insights.
Now if you're a foodie... you could post pix of your post-hike meals
Curious to see what you whip up out there. On my multi-week stay in lodging trips, I tend to go pretty basic as I don't have much time to cook/eat as I'm such a slow hiker.
Once years ago I sat behind Julia Child on a transcon flight. The flight attendants were all in a tizzy and apologizing about the in flight meal (remember those?) Her response cracked me up: "I don't fly for the food, dearie". Ditto.
