Emigrant Road closed through March

The NPS web site used to say closed until early March.    Now it says closed until 31 March.

I got up there to do my exploring in the area at the end of Dec because it was supposed to close at the beginning of Jan.  They had some difficulty with the contract, so work started later.  Initially I was worried I might get trapped at my campsite or asked to leave, but I hit up the ranger station and that's when they said it wasn't closing on time so I stayed an extra day.

Word from the rangers at FC is that they're doing Wildrose at the same time! It's quite the project, and with an aggressive timeline!
